Thinking of You on a Tuesday Evening
Hello everybody! I hope your week is going well. DH is at band practice so I spent some time in my scrap room. I made this card for one of our supervisors at work whose son is in the hospital with a ruptured appendix. Masculine cards are hard enough for me, but then the thinking of you cards for men are even harder. I used Stampin' Up card stock and DCWV pattern paper from the Linen stack. I used a Sizzix label die, nail heads from Walmart, and Scrappy Moms stamps with Stampin' Up ink. Clean, simple, and quick. My kind of card during the week! I know it looks like a lot of white space on the card, but we have 18 people that will sign this and I knew we needed the room. Well, that's it for tonight, just a quickie post. Hope you have a great evening, and as always, thanks for stopping by!

Saturday Evening
Hi everyone! How was your Saturday? I was out of town for training this week so I've been doing some catch up on laundry etc. but did make sure to take some time to spend in my scrap room. I started this 2 page layout last weekend when I came across this cardstock. It was part of a page kit that I got a couple of years ago when my upline demonstrator with Stampin' Up held a girls day on Superbowl Sunday. I was working on something else at the time and never used it, but like all good crafters, saved it for another day. :) The picture is of me and 2 girlfriends from high school. This was taken at the wedding of my bff on the right. It was such a beautiful wedding, an evening wedding at a Vintner's Cellar in Southern California. I thought the purple cardstock was a perfect choice for the winery theme.
Here's a list of other supplies used:
DCWV pattern paper
Stampin' Up pattern paper
Recollection cardstock
Stampin' Up ribbon
Stampin' Up paper punch
Fiskars sentiment stamp
Stampin' Up ink
3 Birds glitter letters and dots
Petaloo flowers
Misc gems and brads
Well, I hope you like the layouts, I am very happy with them. Thanks for stopping by my little blog. Have a great rest of your weekend and I hope you save some crafty time for yourself.

Good Sunday Morning!
Good morning everyone! Hope your weekend is going well. I can't believe that January is almost over! I don't know about you, but there just aren't enough hours in a day any more. But that's ok, we learn to make do with what we've got, right? So I wanted to share the projects that my Stampin' Up girls made Friday night. The weather was terrible here, but I still had a great turn out with a lot of laughs. Two of my daughters came which made it even more enjoyable for me. DD #2 is still rather new at paper crafting, but she is like her mother, when she begins a new adventure in life, she goes all out...she is now acquiring her own LSS!! LOL So she walked into the house and held up her new ATG gun and said, "Ok, let's get started!" And the laughs never stopped! I had the girls work on these 3 projects, which I thought turned out well. Note the kisses....I'm not sure if we ate more of them or packaged more! :)
Stampin' Up has just released some new Edgelit and Framelit products with coordinating embossing folders and I just love them!! I used an Edgelit with the embossing folder on the treat bags, and the Cup of Thanks card has another Framelit cut on it. I hope you like the projects and if you see something you like, let me know. Have a great day and as always, thank you so much for stopping by!

DL Art 1 Year Blog-a-versary!
Happy first day of 2012! I hope everyone had a good New Year's Eve last night. We stayed in and made a yummy steak and lobster dinner and watched a video that DD #1 gave us for Christmas. We don't usually go out on NYE, but try and have a special dinner. I think our surf 'n' turf was pretty special! lol So, not only is it New Year's Day, but my dear friend Diana over at DL Art is having a blog hop celebrating her 1 year blogaversary. As you go through her hop 4 of the ladies have clues as to what kind of challenge we can make to link up to her blog. So, this is my take on it.
I used my E2's Cricut American Alphabet cartridge for my cup, and if you can believe it, all the papers used were scraps yet again!! woo hoo!! I used Stickles, ribbon from Michael's, My Pink Stamper and a portion of a Scrappy Moms stamp. I printed the Blog- which is totally not my style since I hate my writing. But I liked the way the card turned out, had a lot of fun with it. So if you have a chance, please stop by Diana's blog and join in her hop and wish her a happy blog-a-versary!! Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by!
