Workshop Projects

Hey everyone! I know, I've been a bad blogger....again. It seems that when life gets crazy this poor little blog takes the hit.  Hopefully things will settle down, oh wait, the holidays are here, so I guess that may not happen yet. :)

I wanted to share the projects we made at last Friday's workshop. The ladies had a blast!
This is a treat bag with a punch art turkey made with the Owl punch and the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch with some Dazzles added for bling. The tag is punched with the new Note Tag punch and stamped with the Merry Everything stamp set in Chocolate Chip. The bags and ribbon are retired products.
I saw this card on another demonstrator's website and knew I had to have my ladies create it. We used the Ornamental Pine stamp set and stamped it with Always Artichoke and the pine cones in Early Espresso with some uni-ball Signo White Gel pen added for snow. Then we distressed it with Early Espresso, inked it all with Versamark and then heat embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. GORGEOUS and EASY!The bow is made with the 1/4" Real Red 1/4" Cotton Ribbon.
And finally we made this Christmas ornament  with a Mason Jar lid. I saw this on Pinterest and fell in love with it. We used Crystal Effects to glue the lid in the ring, rubber side down. We stamped a piece of Whisper White card stock with Stazon using the White Christmas stamp set. Then sponged on Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, and Island Indigo to give it a sunrise or sunset effect. The stamped the snowman again, fussy cut it and popped it up with dimensionals. The bird was colored with a Real Red Stampin' Write marker. The stars were punched out of the Silver Foil paper using the Confetti Star punch. We sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds glitter, punched out a 2" inch circle of the Window Sheet paper and glued on top. Then used some Island Indigo 1/4" Cotton Ribbon on the edge of the lid and made a hook. We also added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to give it some bling, cuz you know you always need bling!!! There is also a 2" circle of the Silver Foil paper glued on the back to finish it off.
I hope you like our projects. Everyone had a really good time making them. I thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a good week!!

I've been a bad blogger, too...I am pretty much just posting for DT commitments. I can't seem to find time to get into my craft room. And like you said, with the holidays upon us, I don't see it happening anytime soon!! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
