Pretty Darn Cute!

Hello again. How's your Monday going? It's quiet at the moment so I thought I'd write another quick post for the challenge over at Cricut 360. The challenge is to create a card, layout, or altered item for a parent or in the memory of a parent. Last week I was thinking a lot about my dad who passed away almost 3 years ago. He'd been on my mind a lot so I thought I'd pull out a photo to create a layout of him. This picture was taken back in 1969 when I was almost 9 years old and my sister was 4. We went out for a Sunday luncheon on a ship called the SS Princess Louise that was docked and turned into a restaurant in San Pedro, CA. I used Bazzill and Recollection cardstock and K and Co. pattern paper. The cream colored mat was cut from Accent Essentials and the ship was cut from the Pack Your Bags Cricut cartridge. The ribbon is American Crafts and the title sticker is from 3 Birds. The journaling tag is an Anna Griffin stamp and I used my iRock for the bling on the tag. I also used my white Gelly Roll pen for my journaling and doodling and Stickles on the ship. Well, hope you like my layout and I appreciate the chance to share a special memory! Be sure to stop by tomorrow morning, I have a surprise!! ;) Thanks for stopping by!!!

  2. Love the layout page. Great job on it. Thanks for stopping by. I am only half way thru them I did one box yesterday and One today. I do have one of those cricut sachels but it only holds 12. So I put all of my seasonal ones in that and I was able to get 15 in there i put 3 cartridges in where the overlays are. I didn't want to separate them. I buy most of my cartridges at cricutmachine.com They are always having great deals I just got 5 at 17.99 each. Lot better than paying 50 to 80 dollars a cartridge.
