Happy Sunday

Hey everyone! How was your first weekend of the summer? It's been a hot one for us and I'm afraid it's just a taste of what's ahead for us. Oh well, that's ok, not like I have a choice, right? ;)

I wanted to share a card that I CASED from another demo and created a sympathy card. One of my very good friends lost her grandfather a few days ago. They were lucky enough to have pictures of 5 generations in their family. Not many of us have that special kind of picture and I know her family is really going to miss their grandpa.

I really loved the sketch of this card and thought that it worked well. With the release of the new Blendabilities Markers I have been wanting to color more and more and chose to do so on this card. As a kid I loved coloring and couldn't wait to get a new box of 64 Crayolas, these markers bring back that same joy. I can't remember the stamp set that was used on the original card, but this was my take.
I wanted to show the inside as well. I see so many gorgeous card fronts and always wonder what the inside looks like. I wanted this to be a little different and rather than sign beneath the sentiment, I can sign above.

I know sympathy cards can be hard to make, so I hope this gives you some inspiration. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great week.
